How this happened
Julius Caesar was assassinated at the Roman Senate house by senators, lead by Caesar's friends Brutus and Cassius. All the senators begged him of Cimber's immediate freedom of repeal. When Caesar was confused and refused, Casca struck Caesar from behind, then everyone surrounded him and began stabbing him. Brutus gave the final blow to Caesar, causing him to fall to his death. Mark Antony then approaches the room and has a conversation between Brutus and Cassius. Not only until after the murderers leave, does Antony reveal his true personality and what he plans to do. This event then leads to Brutus and Antony's speech.
