the last battle
- How the battle started:
- Cassius and Brutus verse Antony and Octavious in a comeback fight.
- They round up their troops
- The battle went well for Brutus and Cassius at first, but then the suicides began to happen
- Then Cassius misinformed by his slave that Titinius was captures, and commits suicide.
- Then, all the officers of the rebel army see that Cassius is dead.
- Titinius shows up,(this is why it is called a tragedy) full of good news and finds his friend dead.
- The army officers leave him there to grieve on his own.
- While he is alone he commits suicide.
- At the end of the battle
- The rebels have lost too many top officers to manage to the battle effectively.
- Then, when defeat is certain, Brutus commits suicide
- He finds suicide finds suicide more honorable than capture.
- He would rather die the hand of a friend then a foe
- The rest of the officers are captured and the battle ends
- Antony stands over Brutus' dead body and says "This is the most noble Roman of them all." (Say What?!!)
